Hello Britney,
First of all, happy early birthday to your sweet daughter! What a special way to celebrate that momentous occasion. I highly recommend trying to get a standard room at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort in the Little Mermaid section. This is a value level resort, so it would be perfect for a tight budget. The rooms would be a dream come true for your little mermaid loving gal.
Be sure to meet
Ariel in her Grotto in Magic Kingdom before or after riding
Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid right next to her Grotto. Over at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can see Ariel in her very own show,
Voyage of the Little Mermaid. I also recommend doing a character meal, if budget allows. She might really enjoy dining with the princesses at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in Epcot or Cinderella's Royal Table. These restaurants can book up as early as 180 days out, so you will want to try to call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) as soon as possible to check on availability. Some other great alternatives are breakfast at 1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort or Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom.
It is always fun to get a pair of Mickey ears to commemorate the trip and this is a relatively budget-friendly souvenir that can also be personalized. Also, ask for a special birthday button for her at the front desk of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Be sure that she wears it each and every day and she is sure to be greeted with birthday wishes throughout the trip!
Have a magical trip.
