We are taking our daughter to Disney for her 3rd Bday. Its her 1st time & we want to make it special. We have a meal plan & it has 2 sit down meals included. Eating in Cinderella's Castle will take both meals, is it worth it or should we do Chef Mi

    Hi Jill!

How fun to have your daughter's birthday at Disney! We did my son's 2 year old birthday last year!

So, the choice is between Cinderella's Royal Table and Chef Mickey's? Well, it just depends on your daughter--

Cinderella's Royal Table is an incredible experience. You are sitting in the castle. You have a view of Fantasyland and the princesses come to your table! It's pretty magical!

Chef Mickey's is one of the most celebrated character meals because you get to see the Fab 5--Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto!

So, if you're daughter is a big Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fan, Chef Mickey's is for you. If she's a pink princess (like my daughter!) she'll want to do the Royal Table.

    Other things to consider:

--Cinderella's Royal Table is in the Magic Kingdom so you'd have to do your meal while you were at the park. Meaning, you have to have a ticket to get in. Chef Mickey's is at the Contemporary so you can go any day or time.
--On the other hand, since CRT is in the Magic Kingdom, there's no travel time. If you are already in a park and have to travel to The Contemporary, you'll have to figure in travel time.
--Like you said, Cinderella's Royal Table takes 2 credits. If you chose Chef Mickey's you could still get a Princess character meal in by going to Akershus in Norway.
--Costume Characters vs. Face Characters. My daughter is afraid of the costume characters and it would terrify her if one came to our table. But she loves talking to the princesses because they have real faces.

Hope that helps! Regardless of what you choose, your daughter's 3rd birthday will be magical!
