Hi! taking my daughter on a cruise in Nov. I have booked everything for her (tea party, princess makeovers) & wanted to schedule one spa visit for myself but don’t know how since I don’t know when the ship has kid activities w/o parents. Any advice?

    Hello Helen,

Thanks so much for writing to us.  How exciting that you have a Disney Cruise Line voyage planned with your very own princess.  It sounds like you have put so much effort into planning a most magical experience for her.  I absolutely agree that a visit to the Senses Spa & Salon is the perfect way to spend some time on yourself!  While you are at sea, the youth clubs on board are open, and are the perfect place for your daughter to spend time with other kids engaged in a host of activities that include interactive games, meet-and-greets with favorite Disney Characters, and so much more.  You didn't mention how old your daughter is, but based on the number of princess-themed activities you have in store, I'm guessing that the Oceaneer Club and Lab, which are geared for children ages 3 -12 will be one of her favorite spots on board.  These venues offer secured programming, meaning that once registered, you will be able to drop off your daughter while you head for some pampering at the spa.  While the ship is in port, the youth clubs often have open house hours which is not secured programming time, and during which any guests on the ship can explore the clubs.  I recommend that you book your spa treatment(s) while you are at sea, therefore.

I hope you both have an incredible vacation!
