We are taking my daughter for her 5th Birthday. She turns 5 one of the days we are in the parks. Can I alert the parks to know she is having a birthday? We have brunch reservations at Hollywood and Vine. I'd love the characters to know as well. Thanks!

Hi Cathleen, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question.
Birthdays are very special at the Walt Disney World Resort, the happiest place for celebrations.
My little daughter is also 05 years old and she loves Hollywood and Vine. It is always an amazing experience. Make sure you mention on your restaurant reservation, you are celebrating your daughter’s birthday. Cast Members will arrange something for her, such as a special birthday card autographed by the Characters, a complimentary cupcake with a candle for singing “Happy Birthday” or even colored ribbons on your table to show everyone you are celebrating. They did it on my daughter’s birthday at the Crystal Palace, and she was so happy our table was the only one with colored little ribbons. You can also order a birthday cake to be delivered to the restaurant of your preference. It’s always a memorable surprise!
By the park entrance, you can ask a Cast Member for a Complimentary Happy Birthday Button for her to wear on her special day and get ready to have a perfect celebration.
Hope this information helps your planning. Let us know if you have further questions.
    Wishing you a wonderful day!
