Hi Isabel,
Welcome to planDisney! How exciting to have a birthday to celebrate while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!
Well, this is a special birthday, so let's get started planning! First, make sure you have a
vacation package reservation or you have
theme park tickets purchased and those are linked in your
My Disney Experience account. Given that you are planning to travel right after the start of
The World's Most Magical Celebration, I imagine the parks will be quite busy. Check the
theme park pass reservation availability calendar for the dates of your visit to be sure that there is still park pass reservation availability. Then, make those
Disney Park Pass system reservations as soon as possible.
Next, take a look at the super cute surprises you can order from
Disney Floral & Gifts. We ordered princess balloons for our girls on one trip and the surprised looks on their faces were just priceless. We just visited the Walt Disney World Resort in July and celebrated my husband's birthday. We stopped by the front desk of our resort hotel and picked up birthday buttons for all of us to wear.
We also made
advanced dining reservations for the birthday at our favorite restaurants. On my husband's birthday we had breakfast at
Hollywood & Vine and dinner at
'Ohana. And we timed our 'Ohana dinner reservation so that we could see the fireworks at Magic Kingdom while dining. I do have one final tip - be sure to capture your Disney PhotoPass memories. Try booking a
Capture your Moment - Magic Kingdom photo session.
Isabel, every birthday girl needs a birthday outfit. Take a few minutes to search
shopDisney to find a few items that might bring a smile. Sending a little extra pixie dust trusting that you will plan the most magical day!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
