We're taking my daughter for her 4th birthday, is there anything Disney does to make that special for her?

    Hi Christy,

4 years old and so much to celebrate, well you have come to the right place (or going to the right place!).  Walt Disney World celebrates everyone's "actual" birthdays as well as 364 days of "un-birthdays" (you know, from Alice in Wonderland....if you don't, you must rent it and watch it as it is a classic!).  As I have mentioned many, many times already the first step is to get your daughter a "it's my birthday" pin from any Guest Services at any of the parks, resorts or even from the "Downtown Disney" shopping district.  Next step.....tell everyone!!!  She will more than likely get tons of attention throughout her stay from cast members everywhere.  If you are staying at a Disney World resort be sure to let them know which day she will be celebrating her "big" day on and she may get a surprise sent to her room!

Sometimes, the guest services at Magic Kingdom have gone above and beyond when my daughter has celebrated her "big" day there, and given her a coupon for a free Mickey Mouse ice cream bar.  You just never know what surprises lie around the corner when you are celebrating any special occasion here.

You can also celebrate your daughter's birthday by having something sent to her from her family (you guy's), either to your room or to a special location during a dining experience or location at one of the parks....it really is endless, the possibilities (it's more a question of budget and "chance"!).  visit this link for more information on this idea.

Many happy wishes for your daughter from me!
