    I will be taking my daughter for her 7th bday and first time to DL in Jan 2017. My budget is some what tight and would like to know what the park offers bday kids.

    Hello, Monique! Thank you so much for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A birthday at the Disneyland Resort is nothing short of magical!

    The first thing I would do is stop by City Hall in Disneyland Park to pick up a complimentary birthday button. You child may receive birthday wishes from Cast Members and fellow Guests throughout the day when they see she is wearing that button.

    If it is in the budget to dine at a table-service restaurant during your stay, make sure to mention that you are celebrating your daughter's birthday upon check in. You just may be sprinkled with a little pixie dust during your meal. If you want to guarantee a little extra magic, you can have a custom birthday cake delivered to your table at select restaurants. Call (714) 781-3463 at least three days prior to the date of delivery to order your cake.

    I hope your daughter has a magnificent time celebrating her birthday at the Disneyland Resort!
