We are taking a cruise out of Port C in Feb. We plan to drive to the port, so no need for airport or transfers. is there parking at the port? and where is a good place to stay with fun activities for kids? Not sure how warm hotel pools will be

    Ahoy, Jennifer!

Your crew is in for a real treat sailing the high seas in February! Escaping the winter chill for a Disney Cruise is the perfect way to chase away those cool-weather blues.

At Port Canaveral, you’ll find a convenient parking garage right next to the Disney Cruise Line terminal, typically opening around 10:15 a.m. For an extra splash of Disney magic before embarkation, my family loves to drop anchor at a Walt Disney World Resort the night before. Imagine your little sailors exploring the whimsical Art of Animation or spotting exotic animals at Animal Kingdom Lodge. And yes, the pools are heated! We’ve enjoyed a February swim at Pop Century more than once!

If you’d rather stay closer to the port, there’s a fleet of great hotel options in the area. Disney currently recommends the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront, a beautiful property right on the Atlantic and about 15 minutes from the terminal. For even more choices, search “Port Canaveral hotels close to port” and check the map to find what suits your crew best. Many hotels even offer park-and-cruise packages, which can save you the cost of parking at the terminal.

No matter where you drop anchor the night before, your embarkation morning will be filled with excitement as you get ready to set sail on an unforgettable voyage!

    Bon Voyage,
    Anne
