Marcella from MA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I am taking a cruise on the Dream on December 31, 2021. I noticed that On Board gifts were available to order until December 28. Does that mean that they are available until that date for (future) delivery onto the ship or is the catalog being changed?

    Ahoy Marcella!

A Disney Dream sailing to ring in the New Year? Brilliant! I must say that there’s no better way to celebrate this special occasion than with a Disney cruise! It will be here before you know it, and we are more than happy to share all our pointers about sailing with Captain Minnie!

There are so many great options available at the Onboard Gifts link, including romance packages, floral, beer and wine, cakes, and in-room decor. Just enter your reservation number or browse by departure port to see what options are available for your sailing. I’m not sure what you have your eye on, but I really like ordering champagne and sparkling cider to toast the start of our vacation. To add some extra pizzazz, getting stateroom decorations is really a great way to surprise your crew and amp up the fun factor. Between nautical characters, birthday wishes, Avengers, and Marvel, there’s a theme for everyone!

Since you are wanting to pre-purchase items through Onboard Gifts, it has to be done at least three days prior to your sail date. That’s why December 28th is showing as your cutoff date for your December 31st voyage. It doesn’t mean that the catalog of options is changing on that date. Captain Mickey just likes to get all these pre-purchases organized in advance of each voyage, and then he has to move on to preparing for the next cruise. Makes sense, right?

So now the fun begins as you make your choices from Onboard Gifts. As you count down the days to your cruise, feel free to stop back by planDisney with any additional questions. Wishing you many fun adventures at sea!

    Happy Sailing!
