Hi we are taking a cruise on the Disney Fantasy with my 7 month old who still is working on sitting up on his own. Do you know if the high chairs on the cruise lines are the standard backless restaurant type or do they have a back to them? Thanks!

    Ahoy, Tracey!

Thanks for stopping by with your question. What a wonderful time you'll have cruising with your little one! You'll love everything about the Disney Fantasy. I know I shouldn't play favorites, but it's my favorite ship in the fleet! (shhhh...don't tell the others...) Make sure to bring your camera and take lots of pictures to remember your baby's first cruise with Captain Mickey!

The high chairs in the dining areas are the standard restaurant-type chairs, fixed-height and with no attached tray. The chair pushes right up to the dining table. If your little one has difficulty sitting up in this type of chair, you could always opt to bring a stroller to the main dining room. Your servers will be more than happy to help you make room for your stroller, so your child can be comfortable during your meals. (And maybe even take a nap!)

I hope this helps with your planning! Please let us know if you have any more questions before you sail!
