Hi, we are taking our cruise in a couple of days. I wanted to know how long should we plan for dinner (2nd seating) and do we schedule babysitting (my 2 year old) for the time when the kids are swooped away?

    Welcome aboard, Sharee!

Countdown to the party is here - you and your whole family must be beaming with excitement! You are in for such a treat on your upcoming Disney Cruise.  Disney's signature dining experiences are unique and you'll be enjoying expertly prepared meals paired with great service. Your dedicated dining team follows you to each of your dining room rotations throughout your voyage. Dinner could easily average about one and a half hours. My family and I usually prefer the 2nd seating as well. I think it feels more relaxed and my husband and I leisurely finish our dessert and coffee in the dining room, while summing up our day.

The nursery will need to have a schedule reserved in advance for your 2 year old. As you may already know, there is an associated fee for babysitting. If you do intend to have dinner and possibly check out any of the Adult Nightclubs & Lounges on board afterwards, you should make reservations soon. Once you embark, you can also check for schedule availability directly with the Nursery.

Wishing you a magical voyage, Sharee!

    Bon voyage!
