We are taking the cruise to Alaska in Aug. 11. I have seen things about Pirate night will this be offered on this cruise. I am trying to plan ahead for clothing etc. Any info on the activities # of formal nights etc. would be appreciated. Thanks. Connie

    Hi, Connie!

I am so happy for you that you're taking advantage of the Disney Wonder being in your neck of the woods. I think that the Alaskan cruises are going to be such popular itineraries for guests, and you're smart to get on the band wagon early!

Presently, the Entertainment Team for Disney Cruise Line is still working on the themed nights aboard the Wonder for the Alaskan cruises this summer. However, please stay tuned at disneycruise.com for more information coming soon! Although it is unlikely that the Pirates IN the Caribbean Party will be included in the line up, there is sure to be a fun celebration to replace it for families!

On 7-night cruises (and longer), you can count on at least two times when your family will have an occasion to get dressed up more than you would on a shorter cruise. There is a formal night where a tux or formal gown is suggested, but a suit and a cocktail dress would be the norm. There is also a semi-formal night where a suit or a dinner jacket for men is suggested, and a dress for women is appropriate. Men will need a dinner jacket/coat to dine at Palo, and women will be most comfortable in a pantsuit, dress or skirt.

I hope that helps you pack! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
