Hi there, Sandra!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You will soon be off on an amazing Alaskan sailing full of adventure, incredible scenery and tons of onboard fun and entertainment! My family sailed an Alaskan itinerary a few years ago and I can’t wait to do it all over again! There was so much more that I wanted to do but did not have the time to do so – and our boys were infants then, so we need to do it again when they can enjoy (and appreciate!) the adventure!
When you debark in Vancouver at the end of your incredible week, you will need to claim your luggage and take it with you. Disney Cruise Line does not offer the service to send it directly to the airport for you at the Vancouver Cruise Terminal. I would suggest checking to see if there is baggage storage available at the Port after disembarking OR at the airport. Sometimes it’s a hassle, but we had to get our luggage to the Copenhagen airport for storage before exploring for the day prior to our flight home. But, in the end, it was definitely worth it!
I am sure you have explored the many wonderful excursions available through
Port Adventures and I highly recommend not missing the Mendenhall Glacier! You won’t regret seeing that beauty! And, luckily, Port Adventures provides a variety of ways to see it – some more adventurous than others - there is something for everyone! Oh, and most important -- definitely don't miss the bread pudding from
Tiana's Place either!
Enjoy EVERYTHING magical and
WONDERful about your trip!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
