I will be taking my 3 children- 16,16, and 7 to Disney World in March for 6 days/5 nights. Do you have any tips for a "single" mom? We are staying on site and have purchased the dining plan. Thanks in advance.

Your vacation is right around the corner which is pretty darn cool. It seems that you planned it perfectly too. Staying at a Disney Resort will save you precious time which you can use to relax and take it all in. I would start by looking into getting yourself pampered with a nice massage at one of the hotels. I always try to take a few hours just to get away from it all and I find that the spas are fantastic. The Olympiad Fitness Center at Disney's Contemporary Resort has a great spa as do many of the other resorts. With your kids being a little bit older it you will be able to enjoy this trip. I would take some time at Epcot. This park will fascinate kids of all ages. The family will all enjoy Soarin' over my home state or taking a fast drive on Test Track for thrilling adventure. You might want to spend some quality time at the World Showcase. This is a great part of the park for adults as they can appreciate the beauty of each of the countries represented. There is also the fact that you can purchase an adult beverage in many of the countries that is a real beverage served in that country. I personally enjoy learning about Mexico's unique libations at La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion.

As a Los Angeles native I basically grew up at Disneyland. It has always been so easy to take my family on the short drive to the Happiest Place on Earth. Watching my daughters make magical memories reminds me why I keep coming back. Learn More About Ari
