    We are taking our 2 children (10 & 8) to Disney from Dec. 5-12. Could you please recommend a resort? We booked the Animal Kingdom, however I would like to change it to something else. We have stayed there before and it's so far out,

    Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge it is my favorite hotel, but I have to confess; it is really far from everything. Since you have stayed there before, I think you should consider trying new hotels and experiences. Consider Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, it s a great option with excellent and huge pool area. Inside this hotel, they have an amazing restaurant called Yachtsman Steakhouse, where my family and I had the best Angus filet mignon at WDW. Another great option is Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The hotel is perfect, and you are going to be able to see the Gingerbread House in the main building and it smells like heaven. WDW in December is even more magical, because of all the Christmas decorations. A moderate resort that I have stayed for three times and I love is Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort; it’s comfortable, near and affordable.
