I am taking my children on a Disney cruise they are 12 and 7? It is a Carribean cruise will we need passports?

    Hi Verlon,

Welcome to the Moms Panel!  How exciting that you have a Disney Cruise on the horizon.  To answer your question, currently passports are not required when cruising from the United States to the Caribbean - however I strongly suggest getting them anyway.

To enter the U.S. by cruise ship, they are not required - however to enter by air, they are. So in the event of an emergency where you needed to fly back to the states - unless you have a passport, you will not be allowed entry.

You can find more information regarding passports HERE.

    Have a great voyage!
