I am taking my 2 boys (4.5 & 3 yr) for the first time at end of March for 3 days..what are the best parks for boys their age? Also is it worth taking them to Downtown Disney at this age?

    Hi Leanne!

Your boys will probably love all of the parks at Walt Disney World.  Without a doubt, the best park for children of that age in general is the Magic Kingdom.  It is the crown jewel of the Walt Disney World Resort and, in my opinion, of the entire theme park industry.  It offers the most attractions for young children.

After the Magic Kingdom, I would suggest visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Both have a lot of shows and rides for young guests.  However, if you have the time, I also suggest visiting Epcot.  While Epcot has a reputation for not necessarily being kid-friendly, you won't have any issues with children that young. Usually it is the tweens who get bored with the Future World portion of Epcot.  Most young children just love being out and about!

I would only go to Downtown Disney if you want a diversion from the parks or want to shop.  Downtown Disney has some nice shopping for the whole family.  However, if you are pressed on time, then I would just concentrate on the theme parks!

I hope this helps!  Write back if you have any more questions!
