DH & I are taking the boys (3 & 9) to WDW 1/28 to 2/3, so excited! It's been tough but we've kept the trip a suprise, now looking for creative ways to tell the kids. Flight is 6am on 1/28, afraid if we tell too soon no one will sleep the night befo

    Hi Erika,

Wow, you have done so well to keep your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World a secret. I have always wanted to surprise my Son with a trip but have never managed to contain my excitement!

With a flight departing at 6am, i'm not sure that any of you will be getting much sleep the night before.

There are lots of ways that you could tell your children. Here are just some of my suggestions:-

1/ Make a sign saying "We are going to Walt Disney World"
This could be put up behind their curtains, on the wall or if they have a favourite Disney plush you could attach the sign to it.

2/ You could literally spell it out for them in food or even write it inside a takeaway pizza box ordered for your dinner the night before.

3/ You could organise a scavenger hunt and leave clues around the house for them find before a final reveal

I hope that these suggestions have been of help and wish you a magical trip!
