We are taking our boys for their 1st visit this September, ages are 2, 3, and 5. We are getting the mid level dining plan and looking at staying a pop century or port Orleans, any suggestions of what we have to see or have to do with boys that age?

    Hi Jennifer,

How exciting to be taking your little ones for their first visit to Walt Disney World!  Since every child is so different, and there is so much to do at Walt Disney World, you will ultimately need to decide what is most appealing to them.  Let me offer some suggestions on where to start.  First, do be sure to order the free Walt Disney World planning DVD.  You can watch this and start to get an idea of what attractions you think might appeal to your boys.

I think that a great theme park for younger boys is Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Since your children are younger, they might enjoy Disney Junior - Live on Stage!, which is an energetic show featuring live entertainers and puppets of some Disney Junior characters.  At Disney's Hollywood Studios, also consider a meal at Disney Junior Play n' Dine at Hollywood & Vine, where characters from Disney Junior interact, sing, and dance with little guests.  If your older son has discovered Star Wars, he might enjoy learning to become a Jedi at the Jedi Training Academy.  Finally, the whole family can have a great time on the interactive attraction Toy Story Midway Mania!, which allows you to play games while riding.

Whether you decide to stay at Disney's Pop Century Resort, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside or Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, do spend some time at the resort.  These resorts all have great pools - which little ones usually love!

I would love to help you plan more Jennifer; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer.  Please do write back if you have any further questions!
