We are taking our 2 boys to Disney World in 15 days for the first time! They're 6 and 8. We go the Quick Service Dining Plan. Do the boys have to order off of the kid's menu or can they order off of the regular menu?

    Hello, Susan!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! WOO HOO!!! It is truly a MAGICAL experience to visit Walt Disney World for the first time!  AND...you are going to be here for 15 DAYS!  That is AHHH-MAZING!!!

Your family is really going to enjoy the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan! You are also going to love the refillable mug and the two snack credits you will receive for each night of your stay. Because the ages of your children are six and eight, you will be paying the child price for the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan. Because of this, your children will have to order from the kid's menu.

I have five children, so my family has dealt with this issue before. We solved our problem by allowing my eight year-old son to order an adult meal with my wife's Disney Dining credit, and then she ordered off the kids menu. She did not do this for every meal; however, my son was very grateful for his Mom's sacrifice and gave her a big hug and kiss! (My wife might have given up her adult meal JUST to get those hugs and kisses!)

If you have other questions, please let us know!

    Have a MAGICAL day!

    Wes
