We are taking our boys aged 8 and 6 for the first time and hoping to do one day in a water park. The 8 year old is more adventuresome than the 6 year old, which park would be better and why? My husband & I have been to Blizzard beach before kids years

Yeah! Your kids' first visit to Walt Disney World! Your boys are going to have a blast traveling on Star Tours, blasting Zorg on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, eating Mickey ice cream, and splashing at a water park.

Either Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach will be an awesome place for your family to spend the day, but my top choice for your sons would be Typhoon Lagoon. My family loves the Surf Pool here with waves crashing through every every few minutes. Snorkeling at the Shark Reef, suitable for all ages, is a unique way to see fish, stingrays, and some harmless leopard sharks up close.Your family can float on floats down Castaway Creek or ride together on a raft down Gang Plank Falls. The main reason, however, I believe this water park is the better choice for your family is Blizzard Beach is chock full of steep slides your younger son would shy away from. The slides at Typhoon Lagoon are less intimidating so your family could stay together for your day of water fun.

Enjoy your day in the water!
