Hi Barbie,
I am excited to help you start to plan your trip to Walt Disney World with your young twins!
It sounds like you have already done some research and know that you would like to stay at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is a beautiful resort with rich decor and so much to do and see! Be sure to check out the recreation guide that you receive upon arrival for activities including those related to culture and animals.
For princess experiences, there are many options. You could simply choose to meet the princesses at a character meet and greet at Magic Kingdom. Children can be transformed into princesses at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. You also might want to consider a character meal at which you can meet some princesses at either
Cinderella's Royal Table in Magic Kingdom or
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall at Epcot.
As for other must-do attractions, that will really depend on your children and their interests. At five years old, my daughter loved attractions such as Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, and it's a small world, all located in Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom. If your children are at least 38 inches tall and a little daring, they might enjoy the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train family coaster. At Epcot, my daughter enjoyed Spaceship Earth, Journey into the Imagination with Figment, and The Seas with Nemo & Friends.
I would love to help you plan more Barbie; however, I am limited in the space that I have to answer. Please do write back if you have any further questions!
