Hello! We're taking a bday trip for our 3-year-old in a couple weeks. Are there any bday perks we can take advantage of (even if his actual birthday will be 4 days later?) And what time do the nighttime festivities begin? He loves fireworks!

    Hi Daisy!
I'm so thrilled to know you'll be taking your son to the Happiest Place on Earth for his third birthday!
While there are no actual birthday perks, there are certainly things that can be done to make his day extra special at Disneyland:
*Pick up a complimentary birthday button at City Hall inside the Disneyland Park when you first arrive.
*Request that the Dapper Dans sing a birthday tune for your son!
*Order a Celebration Cake. Celebration cakes should be ordered with plenty of time before your visit (Disney recommends up to 60 days in advance). You can order a custom cake and request one of the many festive and fun Disney cake designs by calling (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.
*Reserve a Character Dining Experience at Goofy's Kitchen! Your little one will have plenty of yummy food options to choose from and a great line-up of characters will swing by your table to say hello!
*Most importantly, buy the Churro, get the Dole Whip, splurge on a gift and forget about your worries and your strife! Your son is growing and the moments you experience will be cherished memories for years to come!
