Welcome Aboard, Henny!
Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help with some information about the weather for your
Panama Canal cruise! I'm officially putting this cruise on my "bucket list" - it looks absolutely amazing! I've seen lots of incredible pictures from voyages through the Canal, and I definitely consider it one of the best itineraries offered by Disney Cruise Line.
Though one can never predict what Mother Nature has in store, the end of April typically signals the end of the "dry" season in Panama. That being said, the change to the "rainy" season is very gradual. You can expect warm, humid temperatures and possibly scattered rain showers. Keep in mind that Panama is primarily a rain forest, so make sure to bring along a light rain jacket for those afternoon showers. With fourteen days aboard the ship, I'm sure you will enjoy lots of sunny days, so pack your sunscreen and sunglasses! (You might just want to wear the sunglasses 24/7, since you'll feel like a Disney Cruise rock star throughout your cruise!)
As your cruise gets closer, you can certainly get a more up-to-date forecast for your sail dates.
