We're taking our almost 2 year old to WDW soon. Are there plagrounds or other general play areas for young ones in the Disney parks and where are they located? She loves going to playgrounds and it would be a nice break from walking and going on rides.

    Hi Jennifer!

Your little princess will have so much fun!!!  Each park offers at least one area for the little ones to run around and all of the resorts have at least one playground as well.  Disney has some great tips for travelling with little ones - just click here.  In the Magic Kingdom, if you head to the exit of Splash Mountain, you will see an adorable play area just perfect for the little critters that can't ride along with Brer Rabbit.  Over in Epcot, if you enter the gift shop to Mission Space and continue towards the exit of the ride, you will find a play spot similar to something you would find at your local pizza/game restaurant.  Disney's Animal Kingdom features my boys' favorite play spot - The Boneyard!  Here your little one can dig up a fossil, run through tunnels and swing on ropes...so much fun!  Finally, Hollywood Studios features the Honey  I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set Adventure.  This playground is HUGE and the ground is nice and soft - just perfect for exploring.  Have an awesome vacation!

    Much pixie dust,
