    We are taking our almost 2 year old to Disney for the first time Nov 13 to 20 this year. We are staying at WDW Dolphin. I know we can't get the Disney bus from the airport but what is the best way to get to the hotel otherwise? Shuttle? Taxi? Help.

    Hi Sandra!  I just answered a similar question for another guest about airport transportation with a two year old.  There are some options available!

    First I would contact the Dolphin resort directly to talk with a concierge or guest service person about what they offer as far as airport transportation. Many times the hotels will have their own shuttle service. I have never needed this when staying there so I am not sure of their procedures.

    Our family does use a private car service when traveling to Orlando. We use Star Limo and their numbers are 407-888-5530 or 407-857-9999.  A driver meets you at the bottom of the escalators in the baggage claim area and then they assist you with your luggage.  They will walk you to an underground parking area specifically used for the private car service. It is a short walk and very convenient.  When you call for a reservation please advise them you will need a car seat and the type you prefer and they will make sure it is in the car for you to use on your drive to Walt Disney World. There are other private car service companies and you can Google them to find the best price for your needs.

    You can also use a taxi and request one that is carrying a car seat. Many have them in their trunks since this is a huge family vacation destination.

    Hope this helps....there are always options and your decision will depend on the costs and ease of each.
