    We are taking our 4 (almost 5) year old daughter to Disney for the first time in April. We have reservations at the Caribbean Beach resort, but were thinking of switching to the Port Orleans after reading more into it. Any advantages of one over the other?

    Hi, Suzanne!

    While both resorts are beautiful, and both are classified as Moderate Resorts, if your little princess is all about The Princesses, then I would suggest looking into the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans-Riverside.  These rooms are scheduled to open in March 2012 and are themed to look as if Princess Tiana has prepared the room just for her special guests!  Imagine your little one's face when she sees fiber optic fireworks light up on her headboard!

    Either resort, however, is sure to wow your entire party; they truly are lovely!
