Hi! We are taking our almost two-year-old son to WDW for the first time in June. I was getting ready to make reservations for a character breakfast, which one would be best for this age group? Thanks!

    Hi Kris,

Character breakfasts are a great way to introduce you little one to characters.  They spend a few minutes at each table, and if your little one seems shy or reluctant, they are pretty good at reading cues and winning children over.

As far as recommending a specific experience, it depends on which characters you think your child would enjoy most.

    • Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom is one of my favorites.  Winnie the Pooh and his friends are the featured characters.
    • Hollywood and Vine at Disney's Hollywood Studios has the Little Einsteins and other Playhouse Disney characters.
    • For classic Disney Characters, I recommend Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort, or Donald's Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom.
Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
