Ahoy, Itza!
Oh, sure...I can answer your question! I just returned from a Disney cruise to Alaska -- and I'm not exaggerating when I tell you it was life changing! It was amazing and beautiful, and we are
savoring our memories! Make sure that you get out and see the ports and experience the unique
Port Adventures.
As far as the various evenings, there is one formal night and one semi-formal night, but any guys in your traveling party can get by with the same suit or sportcoat and slacks for both evenings. They may want to wear a tie for formal night but just a collared shirt and jacket for semi-formal night. For my daughter and I, we brought long dresses for formal night but were glad that we packed light-weight ones that were really "maxi-dresses." For semi-formal night, we both opted for nice slacks and a dressy top since we had just enough time after coming in from our Port Adventure for a quick change. My husband and I repeated outfits for brunch at Palo and an adult dinner there one evening.
Our formal night was at sea -- so we dressed at our leisure and were in no hurry. We met the captain prior to dinner and had lots of family photos taken. The Golden Mickeys made us feel like movie stars walking the red carpet in our formal wear. For semi-formal night, many guests opted out of the main restaurants since our all-aboard was around 7 p.m. (Everyone wants to spend as much time as possible soaking in the experiences!) You do want to pack your pirate gear for the deck party. Since we traveled around the time of summer solstice, our party began at 10 p.m., and the sun was just starting to set.
I hope this helps you plan, and let me know if I can answer any more last-minute questions. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
