We are taking advantage of the free dining plan in September. We have 2 adults and 2 children. Is it possible for us to split up for lunch? Do we just have 1 card to use?

    Hi Danielle,

When you arrive at your resort, each of you will be given a "Key to the World" card. This card will be your room key, park pass, meal plan card, and will also allow you to charge items to your room if that's something that you want to do.

Since both you and your husband have separate cards, you will both be able to dine at different locations.  We did this several times on our last vacation.  I would take my youngest back to the hotel for lunch and a nap while my husband ate lunch and stayed in the parks with our two older children.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
