    I have never taken a trip to DW with my family and I was wondering if its better to use a travel agent or try to plan trip on my own

    Hi Patty,

    You can arrange a magical Walt Disney World vacation on your own or with the assistance of a travel agent.  How you should proceed really depends on whether you have time to do the research.  If you don't have time to read about all your choices for Disney resorts, attractions, transportation, and dining plans, then it is a great idea to work with a knowledgeable travel agent.  In fact, even though I LOVE to plan Disney vacations for myself and others, even I sometimes avail myself of the services of a trusted travel agent because I have found that she does a great job of keeping me apprised of promotional offers that I might not find on my own.
