I have never taken notice of monorails-are the color coded by where they go? Express vs All monorail resorts? I know where to catch the Epcot one-We usally stay at BLT and walk to MK...but love to just ride the whole LOOP back at times...site seeing..

    Hi Denise!

They are color coded for radio communication, so Monorail Red may or may not necessarily be doing the resort loop on a particular day--the next it could be doing the TTC/Magic Kingdom line.  The manager on duty refers to monorails by their color on the radio.

Monorail riding is one of those great (AND FREE!) things to do at Walt Disney World.  I agree that the best ride is Epcot/TTC, TTC/Epcot.  Very scenic and enjoyable!

    Have a magical vacation!
