I have taken the family to Disney World several times mostly between Christmas and New Years.I am starting to plan a 2017 Christmas New Years trip. We have stayed At Pop, POR and ASMoive.Kids will be 15 and 17 both girls. Which moderate resort CSR or CBR

    Hi Lance,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love that you are trying so many different resorts at Walt Disney World! I truly enjoy experiencing stays at different resorts. They all have such unique themes and character!

The decision that you are making is a tough one. Both Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort are very nice resorts. They are similar in the amount of space and setup within the rooms, and the resorts are laid out similarly, with many low buildings.

Disney's Coronado Springs Resort also hosts conventions, so it has a few more amenities, with a few more dining options, as well as a fitness club on-site. If the additional dining options or fitness club are appealing to you, you might want to choose Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. Otherwise, I think that the biggest factor in this decision will be which theme is more appealing to you and your girls. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is themed to the islands and has a tropical, beach-y feel. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort has a Southwestern feel. I have stayed at both and have enjoyed both themes.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Lance. I think that you will find that you are happy with whichever resort you choose! Please do let us know if you have any further questions.
