Hi, Suzanne!
Welcome to
Disney Parks Moms Panel!
You ask a great question, too!
We often head to
Walt Disney World using both a
Disney Dining Plan AND our Tables in Wonderland card. (See Tablesinwonderland.com for details). Each is a great way to experience the best culinary options that Walt Disney World has to offer, each with significant savings.
In short, guests cannot apply the Tables in Wonderland discount to their Disney Dining Plan purchase. However, guests CAN use their Disney Dining Plan while dining at participating dining locations, then use their Tables in Wonderland card for the 20% discount on anything ordered that is
not covered on a Dining Plan. For example, when we are on the Disney Dining Plan, appetizers are not included. My husband may order a bowl of soup, and my son may order a favorite app, neither of which is included in our dining plan. Add to that a glass of wine for mom, and we now have three items which can be enjoyed at a 20% discount, all due to our purchase of Tables in Wonderland.
In a year when we take several short trips to Walt Disney World, the savings we can enjoy using our Tables in Wonderland card can far outweigh the cost of the card itself.
Of course, when we know we'll be enjoying a lot of Disney Dining while touring (when do we not?), the Disney Dining Plan not only saves us money, but it also affords us the peace of mind that our meals are already covered. Win-win!
Send more questions as you think of them, Suzanne; we love to help!
