Hi Vicky! Welcome to planDisney!
I am so happy you reached out about the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground! While I have never stayed overnight at the resort, I have visited it a few times and it is a wonderful resort to visit. I can't wait to stay there one day! It is truly a unique place with campsites, cabins, and some
unique recreation activities.
I've had the pleasure of attending Hoop-Dee-Doo with my family, including my niece and nephew, and I can tell you from experience that you are in for a treat! The show is a crowd-pleasing classic and it's easy to see why. The performers put on a wonderful show and encourage Guest participation (especially for those sitting closer to the stage). There's also the matter of the food, too: it's all-you-care-to-enjoy. While I personally loved the fried chicken, my absolute favorite was the cornbread!
In regard to the seating at Hoop-Dee-Doo, there are a few options: Category 1, Category 2, and Category 3. Categories 1 and 2 are on the main floor and offer wheel-chair accessible seating. Category 1 puts you right in the middle of the action with it offering the closest tables to the stage. I often recommend people choose Category 1 seating, especially if it's your first time experiencing the show! Category 3 seating is located on the second floor of Pioneer Hall, which is the type of seating you are asking about. These seats are not wheel-chair accessible as there is not elevator access. There is a seating chart available on the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review page.
I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member that tables are standard height for this category of seating and servers are usually able to put tables together for larger parties based on availability. When my family and I dined on the balcony, we had 7 members in our party. While you can
make dining reservations online for this restaurant, you may want to call the dining reservation line at
(407) 939-3463 to make your reservation if you have a larger group. They would be happy to help!
As with all dining reservations at the Walt Disney World Resort, the earlier you make your reservation, the better the chance you will get the restaurant, day, time, and party size you want. Reservations for most restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort open up 60 days prior to your arrival date at 6:00AM EST.
I hope you and your family have a magical vacation and a knee-slapping good time at the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue!
Enjoy,
Matt
