Welcome to planDisney, Catherine!
I am so excited to see you have an October visit. October is one of my favorite times to visit because it is the start of the holiday festivities. You can find spooky decorations, seasonal offerings, and maybe even book a night to enjoy
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the transition from summer to fall. And have you seen the new merchandise? There are so many cute
Halloween-themed merchandise options, I fear for my wallet.
The good thing is, you are visiting on a
Disney Dining Plan! That means you’ll get to enjoy those
seasonal snacks I was talking about. Tip: Just look for the Disney Dining Plan symbol next to the snack names when ordering to see if your snack qualifies. My go-to snack no matter the season is a DOLE Whip, so enjoy one for me, please.
When it comes to the Disney Dining Plan, it is important to know that meals and snack credits are non-transferable. This means that your credits can only be used by the guests on your vacation package reservation. So you won’t be able to use your credits to pay for meals for someone who isn’t on your vacation package.
The good news is you all can still dine together. Just let the server know that you will need to be billed separately. That way, you and your party can still use your dining credits. Of course, you can still pay for your guest; you’ll just use an alternate form of payment. My personal favorite is a
Disney Gift Card. Disney Gift Cards are one of the easiest ways for my family to stay on budget. We just preload our card with the amount we budgeted for, and go from there. I will admit, though, I like to shop, so my
Disney Credit Card is never too far.
Catherine, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any others or need a restaurant recommendation, you know where to find us.
Have fun and enjoy,
Shantel
