Do table service restaurants accept walk-ins? If so, what is the best time to eat dinner?

Hello, Cheri and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, we thank you for this excellent question!

Walt Disney World Resort Table-Service restaurants do indeed accept walk-in Guests, pending availability of course. It is highly recommended that Guests secure an Advanced Dining Reservation beginning at 180-days before their scheduled visit, to avoid disappointment, as many Table-Service venues offer Disney Characters and Unique Dining Experiences that are widely popular with many Guests – especially during the busy, holiday season.

It has, however, been my personal experience, on occasion, to have scored last minute Disney Dining reservations as a result of another Guest cancelling – anywhere from 2 to 3 days prior and even the day of. You may have luck as soon as dinner times open up depending on the venue, or later in the evening. I would not rely solely on this method and recommend checking using My Disney Experience mobile app which will help you manage your plans before and during your visit.

We hope this information is helpful, Cheri, we wish you much success with your Disney dining planning and hope you have a magical Disney vacation! We look forward to being of any assistance with any future Disney Vacation planning.

    Happy Disney Holiday Greetings!
