    how much do the table service meals run with characters. I am trying to see if the dining plans are worth it for my 1 1/2,4 and 11 year old next year. They do not eat much. I'm not sure if we will eat $900 worth of food in 6 days.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We’re glad you stopped by to bring us such a great question. I remember asking myself this very question planning a visit a few years back. My kids were not big eaters, but I knew they would so enjoy the magical interactions at Character Dining restaurants, so I had to crunch some numbers to see what was best for my crew.

    While researching, I stumbled upon some really helpful Dining Plan calculators on third-party websites where you can enter your restaurant choices and other details and it calculates the totals you would pay out of pocket versus the cost of a Disney Dining Plan. For that one visit, it turned out that the adding a Disney Dining Plan to our package was a great choice and we ended up saving some thanks to having it!

    Prices are subject to change and third-party sites might not have the most up-to-date info. For dining pricing for your specific dates, your best bet will be to call the Disney Dining help line at (407) 939-1947 where a friendly cast member will be able to look up each restaurant on your specific dates and let you know the pricing. Also remember when you're crunching your numbers, kids under three are free so your tiniest mousketeer will be able to share off your plate at no additional cost. And each guest in your party over the age of three will receive a resort refillable mug. So add that to your total to see where you land.
