Table service meals for adults, can the vegetables be substituted for something else? Like fries if they have those? My husband is not a very adventurous vegetable eater and I'm worried he might eat only his protein otherwise.

    Hello, Sarah.

I have some very picky eaters in my family and know all about making substitutions whether it's at my own dining room table or at Walt Disney World. Mickey Mouse and all of his friends want everyone to enjoy their vacation and if a substitution can be made, generally, they are more than happy to do that for you at any Walt Disney World restaurant. I've even had a very wonderful Cast Member go upstairs at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, to another restaurant and get strawberry compote for my Tonga Toast that I ordered in the food court. The level of service at Walt Disney World cannot be beaten and Cast Members, more often than not, are so eager to make your vacation the best it can be.

During my family vacations, I always try to make reservations at several all-you-care-to-enjoy restaurants. I find these restaurants have things that please even the pickiest of the group, my daughter, but are upscale enough to still make me feel like I'm on vacation. Some of my favorites are 'Ohana for breakfast or dinner, Cape May Cafe for breakfast or dinner, Tusker House for breakfast and California Grill for brunch. Your husband might enjoy those places too. If he loves french fries, my very favorite is the Plaza Fries at The Plaza Restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park. These fries have cheese sauce, ranch and lettuce on them. It sounds like an odd combination but it just works!

    Hope this helps!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
