Hi there, Amber!
Welcome to planDisney, where we love to dish out helpful advice, especially when it comes to all the delicious details of the
Disney Dining Plan! It sounds like you’re ready to dig into some magical meals. I hope you're hungry!
Amber, for your dinner
Character Dining experiences, you’ll typically use one or two Table-Service meal credits per person, depending on the restaurant. Most character meals, like
Chef Mickey’s or The Crystal Palace, require one Table-Service credit, while signature dining experiences like Cinderella’s Royal Table or
Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White will require two. To find out the Dining Plan credits needed for each restaurant, be sure to check the
My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World website for the latest credit requirements.
As for Quick-Service meal credits, they can’t be used for Character Dining experiences, as those require Table-Service credits. But don’t worry! There are plenty of delicious
Quick-Service spots around Walt Disney World where you can use them for a fantastic meal on the go!
Want to keep track of your Dining Plan credits? It’s as easy as saying “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!” Just check the My Disney Experience app under My Resort Stay and select Check Dining Plan to see your remaining credits. You can also find them on your dining receipts or ask a friendly Cast Member at the front desk or Guest Services at your Disney Resort hotel.
And don’t forget,
Advance Dining Reservations open 60 days before your check-in date, so be sure to book those must-do character meals as soon as possible!
I hope this helps you make the most of your Disney Dining Plan and enjoy every bite of your magical vacation. And please come back to see us again if you have any additional planning questions or want some pixie dusted tips! We're hEAR to help!
Bon appétit, and have the best time! ~Emille
