Can you use a table service entitlement for a quick service meal? I found 2 different answers so I am very confused now! I am debating the dining plan or quick service plan, not sure if I'd use the sit down dining as much as quick.

    Hi Melanie,

Generally, you can use your table service credits at quick service locations; however, you can't use quick service credits for table service meals. Having said that, if you are going to get a regular dining plan that has table service credits, in order to get the most value, you'll want to use them at table service restaurants.

I know it can seem crazy to book table service restaurants 180 days in advance, so many guests just decide to go with the quick service option. There are a lot of great choices in counter service meals, but I recommend taking the time to try some of the full service restaurants. There are some really fun restaurants in Walt Disney World: 'Ohana, Chef Mickey's, Whispering Canyon Cafe, 50s Prime Time Cafe, Garden Grill, and Tusker House just to name a few.

A table service meal gives your family a chance to relax amidst the busy atmosphere of the parks. It's a great way to recharge.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
