I have 5 table service credits (staying 5 nights) and I use 4 but on Saturday I'm attending a character dinner that uses 2 credits, will they use the remaining 1 credit and charge us the rest of what our dining plan didn't cover? or in full?

    Hello Taryn!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

When you use Disney Dining Plan entitlements to pay for a signature dining meal that costs two credits, if you only have one credit left per Guest you cannot use this one credit to cover half the meal and pay out of pocket for the other half. You can, however, pay out of pocket for the entire meal and save this remaining credit to use at another location that requires only one entitlement. However, I recommend planning your meals so that you use two entitlements at the signature character dining location and pay out of pocket at another location earlier in your visit where you would use only one credit – this meal can even be at a quick-service location if you are looking into saving money.

I hope this helps you while planning, Taryn! Please stop by real soon with more questions.

    Best magical wishes,
