Hi Kala!
Thanks for your question. The
Disney Dining Plan is a great option to get the best bang for your buck when eating on Disney property. Depending on the length of your stay, expect to save anywhere between 10% - 20% compared to paying out of your pocket on your trip. I find the only thing as good as a Disney vacation is a Disney vacation where you can save a buck or two! :-)
So
Disney currently
does not allow table service meal entitlements to be converted into quick service meal entitlements. Table service (as well as quick service) meal entitlements
can be converted into 3 snacks at the resort that you stay, but you can imagine cost-wise, 3 snacks doesn't come anywhere near the cost of a table service. So unfortunately if you've already chosen the
Disney Dining Plan or
Deluxe Dining Plan, use your table service meals!
Our family used to do the Dining Plan, but due to us spending so much time on attractions, we realized the
Quick-Service Dining Plan worked better for us. We still find ourselves having some quick service meal entitlements remaining by the end of our trip, in which we convert into 3 snacks, but converting quick service to 3 snacks is less costly than converting 3 table service meals into 3 snacks. Stick with the table service, or, if you feel you may miss out on sit-down meals, check with Guest Services to see if you can change your Dining Plan to the
Quick Service meal option.
Have a magical stay (and wonderful eating) at
Disney World!
Terry
