Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittney! I'm so glad that you came to chat with us today about one of my favorite topics: the
Disney Dining Plan. I use the Dining Plan all the time so I'm definitely familiar with juggling credits around to make sure that I get exactly what I want to eat when I'm on vacation. Do I want to indulge in an incredible signature dining experience, like
The BOATHOUSE or
Morimoto Asia at
Disney Springs, or do I want to spend all day testing out seasonal Snacks to see what's new? I really enjoy that the flexibility of the Dining Plan allows me to choose to dine in whatever way works best for my family.
Brittney, I identify with your situation so much because there's nothing I love more than snacking my way around World Showcase at
Epcot, but I want to encourage you to take a look at your plans and see if there is an opportunity in there for you to use that extra Table-Service credit at a
Table-Service restaurant. When it comes to
Quick-Service dining locations, meaning the places that you get most of those delicious Snacks from, Quick-Service credits and Table-Service credits are considered to be the same value, meaning that you could use a Table-Service credit to get exactly the same thing you would get with a Quick-Service credit. You are able to purchase three Snack credit items from the same location with a Quick-Service credit so you could do the same thing with your remaining Table-Service credit but consider the value you get when you do so. There are some incredible Snacks at Epcot, but adding up three Snacks from the same location to match the value of an alcoholic beverage, an entrée, and a dessert from a Table-Service restaurant would be pretty tricky! It is certainly possible to use that Table-Service credit to get three Snacks, but it's definitely worth doing just a little bit of math before you finalize your plans.
Have a magical day, Brittney!
