I only have a table service credit left and want a quick service meal. Will the table service credit cover a quick service meal with a dessert or am I penalized?

Hello Melanie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Organizing the use of your Disney Dining Plan credits can be a little daunting during a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I am always trying to ensure maximum value for each redeemed credit.

When redeeming credits, the general rule of thumb is that you can usually trade down for credits but not redeem up. By this I mean that Table Service Disney Dining Plan credits are redeemed at most Quick Service Dining Locations for meals and often will include the addition of a drink and dessert, but no amount of Quick Service Disney Dining Plan credits may be combined or redeemed for Table Service credits.

As far as what you will receive for your Table Service credits, it really depends on the Quick Service Dining location in question. I recommend you check with a Cast Member at the Quick Service Dining Location you are interested in and inquire what a redeemed Table Service credit will get you.

Each Dining Location at Walt Disney World Resort abides by their own specific terms and conditions and some Quick Service Dining locations may not offer the ability to use Table Service credits.

    Bon Appétit!
