I have a table for breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. I used a credit card to reserve but it says my card will only be charged if I DON'T cancel in time or show up for my reservation... So when am I charged for the breakfast? I want to prepay.

    Hi Melissa,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for sending us your question.  Breakfast at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is truly magical.  My daughter loves starting her day dining among Disney Royalty!

When you make an Advanced Dining Reservation, your credit card is not charged, it is simply used to guarantee your reservation.  If you do not cancel your reservation within the allotted time, your card will be charged a cancellation fee which is $10.00 per person.  Unfortunately you will not be able to pre-pay for this meal, the cost will have to be taken care of after your dining experience is complete.  What I would suggest if you are wanting to pre-pay, would be to purchase a Disney Gift Card in the amount expected for the meal, and that way you know the meal is taken care of.  When my family knows we will have extra meals that we are paying out of pocket for, I always purchase a Disney Gift Card for the amount I have estimated the extra dining will cost, so that I can keep an eye on my purchases.  I like knowing that I have our meals taken care of, and that the only extra costs we have while at Walt Disney World Resort will be for souvenirs.

I hope you have a wonderful time at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Melissa.  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
