does tabel service always mean that a reservation is required?

    Hi, Amber!

If you do one thing to plan ahead for your WDW vacation, make your dining reservations!  Restaurants get super busy taking few, if any, walk-ups.  If you plan to enjoy some table service meals and do not want to spend your time wandering from restaurant to restaurant looking for a table or having to wait for an hour + to be seated, I really suggest booking your dining.

Even if you book the in the morning before heading out to the parks, get a table!  If you do not book from home, stop by your Resort Concierge, let him/her know what park you will be in that day, and the system can be checked for availability.

The easiest way to book your dining is online.  Just select your date, which meal of the day you want, and times and locations will appear.  You can narrow your choices by which park you will be in or by time or however you want.   Booking ahead is especially important if you have the Disney Dining Plan as you will want to get the most bang for your buck!

If you need dining suggestions, let me know!  I'll help you plan so you have a wonderful dining experience!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
