The answer to your question isn't so simple, Drew. Typically,
Enchanting Extras, like
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, are booked 60 days in advance, while Lightning Lane reservations are made either 7 days in advance (if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel) or 3 days in advance (if you are staying off-site). You may be unable to schedule Lightning Lane experiences that conflict with dining reservations or Enchanting Extras, or it's possible you'll be able to do it while receiving a message that warns you of the potential schedule conflict. I have heard of guests having both experiences.
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a very popular experience and tends to book fully within minutes of opening. It's no wonder! These makeovers make your prince or princess feel like true royalty! Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can make reservations 60 days in advance of their check-in day for their entire stay. This
officially opens at 6 am, but has been known to open earlier. I would expect you to book your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience well before selecting your Lightning Lanes.
My advice is to prioritize getting that Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation. Then, when your Lightning Lane window opens, you can go from there. If you are somehow able to secure a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation
after having booked your Lightning Lanes, go for it! You can edit those Lightning Lanes at that time, if necessary.
When initially booking Lightning Lanes, I like to aim for midmorning for my first attraction. That way, I can spend the first hour or two in the park at popular attractions when waits are a little lower and save my Lightning Lane reservations for other attractions or even to re-ride my favorites. As soon as I scan into my first Lightning Lane, I'm ready to start booking additional attractions.
