I am switching resorts multiple times during my visit. Will bell services still send my luggage to my next Walt Disney World resort? Is there a maximum amount of luggage that can be transferred per guest? How long will it take for my bags to arrive?

Hey there, Tamara! Welcome back to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question!

Eeek! Your arrival date is just around the riverbend, and before you know it, you'll embark on your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. How exciting, Tamara! My family and I love doing a split stay, where we stay at two (or more) Disney Resort hotels, almost every time we visit Walt Disney World Resort. It's the perfect way to experience different theming, amenities, dining options and locations ... It's like multiple magical vacations in one! Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends so you can sit back, relax and start your (very short) countdown to the fun!

I think you will be happy to hear that Bell Services will happily transfer your luggage and non-refrigerated items from one Disney Resorts Collection hotel to another for you. Approximately 30 minutes before you check out, just pack up your luggage, count the amount of bags you have to be transferred and call Bell Services from your room's phone. They will ask how many bags you have, and as far as I know, there is no limit to how many bags they will transfer for you. In fact, my family and I have switched from one Two-Bedroom Villa to another, and Bell Services gladly transferred several bags for our eight Guests.

When speaking with a Cast Member with Bell Services on my last trip, he informed me that the time it takes for your luggage to reach you at your new Resort depends on your Resorts, as they have different pick-up and drop-off times. However, he did let me know that it would likely take several hours, and my luggage would arrive at my new Resort anywhere from 1:00-5:00 p.m. Therefore, I recommend packing a day bag to take with you once you checkout. I usually like to make sure I have my theme park bag, as well as my swimsuit and any medications I may need.

Once your new room is ready, just call Bell Services, and if your luggage has arrived, someone will be happy to deliver it right to your room. It's as easy as bibbidi ... bobbidi ... boo!

I hope this helps, Tamara, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable time on your split stay adventure. Be sure to try the special Halloween-themed spooktacular snacks and desserts at the quick-service dining locations at each Resort! Stop by any time with any questions you may have.

    See ya real soon,

    Mandy
