How do you switch reservation dates?

    Hello there, Julie.

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question. People’s plans change for various reasons and Disneyland Resort has made it fairly simple to make adjustments to theme park reservations.

If you wish to switch your park reservation day to a different one, you can definitely do so, provided that: 1) the dates are in the same tier if you have a one-day ticket (or the new date is in a lower tier), and 2) there are park reservations still available. However, if you have a multi-day ticket, you will not need to worry about the ticket tiers. Before you change your reservation, I suggest checking out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see which park is available on the day you wish to visit.

To switch your park reservation to a new date, you’ll need to cancel your current park reservation. Then, return to the “Theme Park Tickets & Reservations” page and under “If you’ve already purchased a ticket:”, click on “Make Park Reservations”. Pick the new date and park you wish to visit and confirm your selections. When your new theme park reservation is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

Please be sure to visit Disneyland.com or Disney Parks Blog for the latest park news so you don’t miss a beat. If you have further trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to write us again. We're all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
